lmadmin errors out on start up

Most Common Error:
Running the lmadmin.exe (even as admin) after the first window opens to start the application a pop-up window comes up with the error:
FlexNet's lmadmin installer is an InstallAnywhere installer which uses Java and requires that JRE 1.6 or later be installed on your system. If a JRE is not installed, then lmadmin cannot be installed.
Note, the lmadmin server itself does not use or require Java so you can uninstall the JRE after installing lmadmin.

Reasoning and Resolution:Could not find a valid java virtual machine to load. You may need to reinstall a supported java virtual machine.
